It’s that time of the year when we would like to recognize and thank everyone for the efforts and contributions they all have made during the past twelve months that has enabled us have another successful Men’s Club year.  In no special order, they are:

  • Jeffrey Weis -- Our 2009/2010 “Man-of-the-Year”

  • Julia Shube --  Our first “Youth-of-the-Year”

  • Alan Rothberg -- The Yom HaShoah route preparer

  • Alan Zwickel --  Our 50/50 top salesman

  • Florian Suserman – Our other 50/50 top salesman

  • Mark Roffman -- Outgoing 2008/2009 “Man-of-the-Year”

  • Mickey Gilbert -- The Passover wine Sale chairman

  • Gary Gordon -- Superbowl pool organizer

  • Charlie Stein -- Yom HaShoah Yellow Candle chairman

  • Larry Friedman – Our wine tasting expert

  • All 12 guys -- That helped build the sukkah (in the rain)

  • All 4 guys -- That helped to take the sukkah down

  • Alan Zwickel -- Our head chef for the Lag B’omer bar-b-que

  • The other 9 guys – Who helped out at the bar-b-que

  • Mark Roffman – Our “Man-of-the-Year” dinner chairman

  • Seth Mendelson – The team captain of the softball team

  • Rich Mark -- The host of our “Family Bowling” at Rockaway Lanes

  • Libby Stein -- Responsible for all our delicious breakfasts

  • Don Rosenthal -- Our “World Wide Wrap” chairman

  • Roberta Ginsberg -- Organizing the blood drive

  • Jack Wenarsky -- Our representative to the Chevra

  • Rob Greenfield -- Our resident photographer and PR guy

  • All the wine salesmen -- That helped make the wine sale successful

  • The 40 guys -- Who hand delivered almost 500 Yom HaShoah candles

  • Mark Roffman -- the Mitzvah Day car wash organizer

  • Rob Greenfield -- Our NNJR liaison

  • The Executive board – You all know who you are

  • The 100 guys -- All who paid their dues this year

  • Alan Zwickel -- Our IT and webpage guy

  • Stephen Berman -- Our official 50/50 money counter

  • All of you -- For not complaining about anything

  • Everyone -- That took home some leftovers from our breakfasts

  • The 75+ guys -- That came to all our breakfasts

  • Ellen Mass – For helping to organize the Men’s Club / Sisterhood breakfast

  • Rabbi Finkel -- For all his support and guidance

  • Cantor Toren -- For helping to start each breakfast with song

  • My wife Judy -- For her understanding, support and help on a lot of this stuff

  • Everyone -- For all of your continued assistance and cooperation this year

  • Everyone else -- That I forgot to mention in this list

Enjoy your summer and we will look forward to your participation in another great Men’s Club year starting in September.
