Soup Kitchen SOUP KITCHEN- SUNDAY AUGUST 29 Extra Food Needed
It is our turn to bring food, serve, and clean up on this date. We can use help with all of these things, please help if you can! Due to new rules we can only have a certain number of people serving. We only need 13 volunteers, so let us know as soon as possible if you can serve. There has been a sharp rise in the number of people that are using the soup kitchen to help make ends meet. Please help, food is really needed!
Casseroles/Main dishes, protein items are greatly appreciated such as meatballs/loaf, chicken strips or pieces (or some meat in the casseroles,) vegetables, salad, gallons of milk and OJ, white bread. Please bring food already cooked and warm. If you can donate any food please let us know, you can drop off on that Sunday up until 10:00 am in the Synagogue lot. Please note the following changes: No children under 12 please! The soup kitchen is located at 36 South St, Church of the Redeemer in Morristown , 07960, back entrance. Approx. time 11 -1:30 . The Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown is growing, and with that, the demand for our services expand as well. We are looking for a small group of people to provide volunteer staffing for the Guest Resource Center. This Center will be on the premises of the Community Soup Kitchen and will provide Guests with the means to obtain more direct access to the various Agencies that are available for offering solutions to their many needs.
